Food Drive

Join us for our annual food drive!

On October 22nd, 104.9 The Wave and the Bathurst Rotary Club for our annual Food Drive — because no one in our community should have to face hunger alone.

Dawn til dusk from 7am-7pm you can drop off your non perishable food or cash donations to our drop off location beside McDonald’s on St Peter Ave. The donations will be distributed by the Bathurst Volunteer Center to help families in need around the Chaleur region!

For too many families in the Chaleur Region, the question “What’s for dinner?” has become a source of anxiety. Across New Brunswick, nearly 32,167 visits were made to food banks last year — over 11,700 of them by families with children.

Meanwhile, one in four people now live in food-insecure households.

Parents skip meals so their children can eat. Seniors choose between medicine or groceries.

Every can, every box, every act of giving matters. When you donate, you’re helping more than filling bellies — you’re restoring dignity, offering hope, reminding someone they’re not forgotten.

Let’s fill shelves, fill plates, and fill hearts.

Special thanks to Johnson Moving & Storage for the Mi-Box.

Proudly supported by Olivier Honda. Selling your used car to Olivier Honda fuels kindness in our community.
